Pixel 2 or newer. Google's reference implementation is expected to have the best WiFi Aware support. Also the best choice for privacy-focused custom ROMs like GrapheneOS and CalyxOS.
Galaxy S9 or newer (unlocked/international models preferred). Wide availability and expected WiFi Aware support across most variants.
OnePlus 8 or newer. Support may be inconsistent, so install Bridgelink first to verify your specific model works before relying on it.
